The cold batching system is employed for the storage and delivery of particular sand and aggregate fractions. The cold batching system consists of particular hoppers, feeder belts, a collecting belt conveyor and a discharging belt conveyor. The cold batching unit may comprise also a service platform with an access ladder or stepladder.<\/p>\n

The hoppers, in standard versions, are produced in the capacities ranging from 6 to15 m3 and are provided with suitable supporting steel structures. However, on customer\u2018s request, the hoppers of customised storage capacity may be supplied. The hopper may be fitted with a grate and vibrator assembly protecting the hopper from the access of oversized material lumps. Hopper contents may be protected from weather effects by a hinged cover.<\/p>\n

The batching of individual fractions is provided by a feeder belt, driven by an electric motor with frequency-controlled speed. Alternatively, a scale belt may be used. The feeder belt feeds the batch material to a collecting belt conveyor, which transports it to discharging belt and then directly into the drum drier.<\/p>\n

The surface treatment of steel structures of concern is made with an epoxide or polyurethane coating system. All the service platforms, stepladders, ladders and railings are hot-dip galvanised.<\/p>\n<\/div>
